  6. This program is made to keep track of files - mainly archives like Lha, DMS etc.

  8. Let's say you have a modem and a lot of downloaded files. You copy these files
  9. to some floppydisks for storage. Now you want to create some kind of list over
  10. the disks, so that you are able to find the files again.
  11.  
  12. And this is exactly what guidelist does for you... The final list will be
  13. interactive and in Amigaguide format. It will contain name, size, date and
  14. description. When you click on the name, the file is processed (unarchived,
  15. viewed etc).

  17. In short Guidelist features:

  19.  * Interactive Amigaguide lists.
  20.  * User defined categories.
  21.  * Description using File_ID.diz
  22.  * Description editor.
  23.  * Recognices a load of files (etc. lha,lzx,dms,gif)

  26. In the above mentioned way you can scan all your floppies, CD's, HD's, ZIP's
  27. or what ever you like. In the end you will have a quick, functional & good
  28. looking filelist that will give you the desired file with a single mouseclick!
